The Oxford Stress System for Knee Arthroplasty Radiographs (OSSKAR) is a medical device for positioning the lower limbs for stress imaging of the knee. The device optimally:
- positions the lower limbs for valgus and varus stress imaging of the knee.
- applies a set and reproducible force to the knee.
- protects the radiographers from x-rays.
- provides better comfort to the patient.
Indications
- Assessment of the pattern and severity of arthritis within the medial and lateral compartments of the adult knee.
- Assessment of the state of the lateral tendons.
